Under the supervision of our Design Manager, your role will be to design and develop structures and mechanisms necessary for fluidic and electrical functions, meeting the specific requirements of a micro-launcher.
Your key responsibilities :
To reach these objectives, your main responsibilities will be:
- Design of structures and mechanisms : design or select standard products that meet the expected system functions, particularly in the electrical (enclosures, connectors...) and fluidic (heat exchangers, valves, connectors...) domains. Develop associated integration methods (routing, assemblies, sealing...).Conduct a
- Development plan : guided by functional analysis, lead an independent development plan to validate, through prototypes and 1:1 scale testing, the primary functions of your designs.
- Trade-off analysis : support choices between potential concepts with weighted evaluations and risk analyses established in collaboration with stakeholders (AIT, supply chain, RAMS...).
- Collaboration with AIT : work closely with manufacturers and integration teams to ensure that designs can be efficiently produced and integrated into the launcher according to schedule.
- Project management : by managing each stage of your work, including procurement and testing, you will ensure adherence to timelines and budgets until your design is operational on the launcher.
Who we are looking for:
You are an associate-level mechanical engineer with 2-5 years of professional experience. You have a Master degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, with initial experience in the aerospace or aviation sector, specifically in electrical- or fluidic-related mechanisms.
Beyond technical skills, you possess strong self-driving capabilities, take initiative, and can obtain compromises between diverse technical fields through innovation and dialogue.
