HYPRSPACE
POWERING AEROSPACE FUTURE WITH THE NEXTGEN PROPULSION TECHNOLOGY
At HyPrSpace, our mission is clear: to make advanced propulsion technology affordable and accessible for a wide array of applications, from civilian to defense. With our pioneering hybrid rocket engine, we're introducing a new era of aerospace capabilities—more efficient, cost-effective, safer, and sustainable.
Role overview:
We are looking for a Fluid Systems Engineer to design, qualify, and deploy complex fluid architectures used both in our propulsion systems and our ground test facilities.
You will own the design, analysis, and validation of multiple fluid subsystems, while providing day-to-day support to test teams on component selection, integration, and troubleshooting on static and dynamic test benches.
Contract: Full-time – Permanent
Your key responsibilities :
As a Fluid Systems Engineer, you will:
Design and size complex cryogenic and high-pressure fluid circuits (LOx, LN₂, helium, nitrogen, compressed air, water, propellants, etc.).
Develop P&IDs, functional analyses and performance models (1D, transient, thermal).
Define and execute qualification tests for valves, regulators, filters, sensors and instrumentation.
Support test teams on the ground, from component selection and integration to troubleshooting during hot-fire and other test campaigns.
Contribute to safety, compliance and documentation (procedures, specs, test reports).
This is a hybrid role: part modelling and analysis, part hands-on on the test bench during critical operations
Your profile :
Master’s degree (or equivalent xp) in Fluids, Energy, Mechanical, Aerospace or Thermal Engineering plus 3-7 years of experience.
Solid knowledge in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics, ideally with exposure to cryogenic and/or high-pressure systems.
Experience in network sizing (compressible / incompressible flows) and understanding of valves, regulators, fittings and instrumentation.
Modelling/simulation skills (e.g. Python, ESPSS/EcosimPro, Matlab/Simscape or similar).
Comfortable working in a test environment: procedures, safety, rigor, and fast feedback cycles.
Bonus points if you have experience with rocket test facilities, pressure equipment standards, or cryogenic propellants !
Ready to launch your career with us and help develop engines that fly?
Apply now and become part of our growing team of 90+ engineers shaping the future of launch systems! You will have a direct impact on real hardware that fires on a test bench, not just slideware and will join a small, agile team with short decision chains and high ownership.
