Your work will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of our mechanical design processes for future propulsion systems.
Your key responsibilities :
As part of your internship and in direct connection with your academic training, you will contribute to the following missions :
Enhancements to the Elison tool
- Update documentation and user manuals.
- Integrate new geometries of flanges (including Rotscher cone) and explore coupling with seal components.
- Add composite materials capabilities.
- Update and validate the thermomechanical model embedded in Elison.
- Update the material library.
- Develop a friction coefficient database for screws (with possible integration to a short selection list).
- Improve the user interface and explore adding an automated screenshot/report generation tool.
Development of a sealing sizing tool
- Participate in creating a calculation tool dedicated to axial and radial sealing design.
Experimental characterization
- Support torque–tension relationship characterization tests.
