Role overview :
As a GNC intern, within a human-sized team, you will support the development of Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) algorithms for our Baguette and OB-1 launchers.
You will ensure that the flight control software and flight control architecture comply with certification, operational, and performance requirements.
Your key missions :
In this role, you will contribute to:
Defining and validating control, guidance, and navigation strategies
Performing sensors and actuators trade-offs
Establishing launcher performance
Preparing test and technical reports
Who are we looking for:
An engineering student with a strong understanding of flight mechanics. You are recognized for your results orientation, your excellent problem-solving skills, and your eagerness to work effectively in a highly collaborative environment.
We also expect the following knowledge/qualifications:
Proficiency in control theory (automatic control, linear analysis, Monte Carlo methods, etc.)
Knowledge of estimation theory (e.g., Kalman filters)
Strong foundation in mathematics (particularly optimization or statistics)
Good physics intuition and solid grasp of point mechanics
Experience programming in C, C++, Python, or MATLAB/Simulink
Good command of English
Rigorous analytical mindset and ability to synthesize and write clearly
Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit
Autonomous, intellectually curious, and proactive

Duration: 6 months
Start Date: January – April
